Few things I’d like to clear out which have become kind of a narrative nowadays.Do what you love to do and love what you do are two different things.’Make passion your profession’ narrative generally doesn’t work. You remain unhappy quite often in that as both the things get compromised. You can’t switch your attention which is an absolute necessity for a human consciousness. As a result, you inevitably feel stuck.Prioritising financial freedom over passion initially is the better decision to go about. You can follow your passion or your passion may not even last that long but financial freedom can let you pick up a new passion later on. Not paying heed to the elders regarding your career decision is absolutely okay. Generational values can be timeless but generational outlook becomes obsolete pretty soon. Your mental age is not correlated to your biological age. Thus, it is okay to brush aside a senior peer’s viewpoint which he’d believe as his experience and try to hammer in your head as the truth. Can’t think of more such things but I’m sure there’s more. Feel free to think about more such narratives and choose to or not to stick to them as per your will.Above all, know that you are unique. There has never been a you and will never be a you again. So, do what feels right.

The universal element to goof up and learn from it is so so important. The tendency to remain clumsy and yet try and find a meaning out of it is why we experience whatever we experience. If you observe one thing that is common, it is the act of randomness. That is why there is a saying, the greatest things are discovered when you’re not exactly looking for them. Don’t be shy to do or try out something which piques your interest. It maybe foolish, goofy but then again if it interests you, go for it.

ATTENTION SPAN IS THE AMOUNT OF TIME CONCENTRATING ON A TASK BEFORE GETTING DISTRACTED.
👆 This is so clearly mentioned in Google. Nothing more needs to be explained. Be aware of it, once you are, work on it to improve it. It is the single most important trait of top class achievers. If you look at Djoker, he doesn’t do anything flashy. But the only thing he does better than everyone is just keep his level of performance close to his best more often than anybody else keeps theirs at their best. I haven’t checked his stats, but I’m sure his first serve percentage will consistently be better than everyone throughout any tournament, month, year and so on. Or say his unforced errors, it’ll be consistently less than others. And, all this requires you to work on attention span, the ability to keep doing something for as long as physically possible. A simple technique to do that is to focus on a particular image or word or anything of choice while sitting to meditate. You can focus on the space between your brows as well. Keep getting your attention back to it once it tries to slip away. Keep doing it and you will see the difference in a few months. A simple technique yet a highly effective one.
Om Shanti.. 🙏
