Defi can truly usher in the next level of globalisation. A kind of globalisation which was unimaginable even a few years back. But, that can happen with a public ledger based digital currency and not any other form of centralised one like CBDC.
Defi based on public ledger will enable someone sitting somewhere in the world to finance a project or any other thing based on any other part of the world. People wouldn’t need to know the financiers or the ones seeking funds, the financiers just need to find value in the project.
Nft can also bring in globalisation of a different form, especially in immovable asset class.
My personal concern is, these things seem theoretically perfect. And, anything theoretically too perfect is generally complicated to implement in real life.
