Greed is the by-product of a lack of self worth. Nothing can be taken without giving something in return. That’s the law of nature. Most of us don’t realise what it is we’re trading in return for greed though. Greed is often disguised as desire, determination, result, fruits etc. Trying to win the game is good if its done for love of the process, but not so much if its done to taste success over and over again. Then that means one’s greedily chasing success. Greedily chasing anything is akin to showing a sign of weakness.

You are going through experiences after experiences. Your experience of joy, happiness, etc. is different when you personally fall in love, achieve success, have a baby or some other positive thing . It is different when someone you care about dearly goes through similar experiences. It is different still when an acquaintance of yours goes through them. Same goes with the case of sorrow, agony, pain, etc. as well. These cycles that are there differs in intensity. However their base remains the same which is your ego. What exactly is ego though? Ego is a culmination of all your experiences that have taken a shape, a form. It relates to everything, even how you experience things and routes everything back to you. Try and melt away that ego and every experience melts away. But Something remains even then, independently. It stands alone, without any sort of flutter. It is what is known by many names. It is the Presence.

Your religion is the individual perception that you have towards evolving to a higher plane. In short it is the path through which you gather knowledge, become wise. It is exclusive. It can be through anything, anywhere.
Spirituality is that continuous journey based on that path. Spirituality is universal.
