Can the Infinite be called Divine and if it is Divine then how does so much evil exist in this world? This are very common questions by the skeptics and legit ones to be honest.
But, the question itself is fundamentally wrong, plain delusional. Asking this question does nothing but separates God from reality. It makes God a different entity from you. It is not though. God is you, you are God. We can’t be separated in any way.
Now, the next question is, if we are God then why do we commit so much evil? Let’s take the worst case of evil for example here. A paedophile grooms a child and the innocent child without a hint or idea gets exploited by the paedophile in the worst possible way. Now, this to the observing world is pure evil, no doubt.
Here’s the thing though, good and bad are subjective and even in a worse situation such as this, it can be proved. As I said, to you and me it is absolute evil. But, there is however a tiny fraction of good. And, that is in the eyes of the paedophile himself/herself. Also, the fact that it makes us realise that paedophilia is bad and needs to be uprooted is a good thing emerging out of this. Even in the worst case scenario such as this, there’s always that tiny bit which is good.
The Divine being inseparable from everything is either good or bad or good and bad at the same time in this case. It is in a state of superposition and our observation or the paedophile’s observation is making the situation what it is. This means that It, the Whole is beyond our observational capabilities and it is upto us to call it Divine or not. By us, I mean the mortal entities that we are, the measurable ones. Thus, to call it Divine or Devil is more a personal choice which usually showcases a mortal’s character and doesn’t really affect It in any way whatsoever.
