The world is slowly starting to get back up after getting KOed by the pandemic. The question that is really bothering me is, how bad is it going to be from here on? Millions have lost their jobs. Thousands of small businesses will fold up. The economic condition will barely be healthy for the time being.
The citizens’ of wealthy countries will probably survive for a few months on govt. benefits. The poorer countries won’t even get such benefits. That means more borrowing for them, getting weaker comparatively. The gap between the rich and the poor, be it on an individual level or on a national level will be bigger than before. And yet people go on through that same cycle without knowing that this is like chakravyuh.
I honestly believe that this is a great opportunity for us to right many wrongs that we’ve done since centuries. The generations of class struggles on the basis of wealth can be sorted out. This pandemic has shown a lot of things which wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. It has shown how fragile this economic system really is, especially for the poor and middle class. A few days of stopping the cycle can cause so much havoc. This shows that this entire economic structure is based on a bubble. What is money? Printed papers. What is account credit? Just numbers coming onto ur phone through messages. How are we valuing this paper? Against what? Probably no answer. Printed papers are being compared to printed papers of other countries. That’s how international valuation is being done.
I’ve done write-ups before on how we can get rid of this never ending thirst of making profit at the expense of others. I believe whatever I wrote (links below?) is the best way to go about it for now. However, ideas adding onto it or better ones would be great. Ged rid of this fake notion of seeing those printed papers as valuable, which is actually lowering the force of our intellect to just look to make ends meet. To just blindly believe in what people in power say and accept it as the truth is so not acceptable. Is that why currency/money/profit making was discovered? To make labourers out of humans? Looks certainly that way now.
Where is our own intelligence to figure out things for ourselves? It is right within ourselves. We are too busy in labouring to think about it. That is exactly why the phrase “everything is possible” have become more like a t-shirt tagline or a marketing tool.
I believe we should open our eyes, tear this blindfold up and give us the best possible way to prosper.
