In today’s world your passion has to generate some kind of revenue. It has to be of utility if you want to live off your passion.
Yes, in an ideal world that shouldn’t be the case but then nothing is ideal. This is one of the reasons why we see so many unhappy people around. We see people who are following their passion but the earning is not upto the mark. We also see people unhappy inspite of earning a lot as their passion lies elsewhere and they’re unable to give time to it.
What exactly is the solution then? Well, to me it’s simple. There’s a distinct lack of clarity.
If your passion generates sufficient income for you to be comfortable and financially free then know that you are one of the lucky ones.
If not, then the two have to be separate. Your way of earning can be strictly professional and doesn’t have to be your passion. This way you can probably slog more initially to be financially free so that later on you get time to pursue your passion whole heartedly. This way you also might slog more enthusiastically just so that you can become financially free quicker.
Your focus will be split this way into two different things for you to be more precise in your wants and goals. Your wellbeing will be better this way. Well, atleast I believe it will be.
Om Shanti….?
