How to describe feelings?

How can we describe feelings in words?

We can describe the emotions to some extent. But can we describe feelings? I guess it’s very difficult, almost impossible. The only way you can probably let others understand it is by giving examples maybe.

Say for an example, sky is your mann(heart, mind), feelings are the clouds probably. Some are clear(happy), some are gloomy(sad), others are dark(depression). I guess that’s the best way I could find to express feelings.

The clear ones are well, clear. The dark ones thunder or shower, gloomy ones either turn dark or clear out.

The emotions are the outcome of feelings. So we can probably describe them in a better way. Humans are a being of feelings. Infact we are feelings altogether. Thousands and thousands of them combining together, interwoven in a complex network which is very difficult to figure out. Then there’s that factor called habit. Feelings depend on that a lot. That’s why I guess the topic of human psychology is such a complex one.

This writeup that I’m doing is just a few words jotted down in the hope of understanding that complex network as best as I can. But then it is just mine. We have a population of seven billion plus. Imagine how big of a task it is to understand everyone’s. Well, it’s impossible.

This is exactly why, it is best left alone, it is best to focus on one’s personal intention. By one’s I mean each to his or her own. To do even the smallest of things with a positive intention is what matters most. That will be habitual in a span of time. Once it is habitual, the overall change of this complex network will show gradually.

Om Shanti….?
