A few thoughts of our well-being..

The recent negativity around the world brings a few things in my mind. I would like to pen them down as best as I can here.

So let’s talk about economy or money first. Let’s say, economy is basically circulation of money. We need to make sure that the most valuable commodity in the world reaches to as many people as possible not only now but in normal times as well. It has majorly stopped everywhere from happening for the time being, especially in the poorer countries where the number of daily wagers are more. There are countries where even the basic need of having a bank account is a privilege to many. It becomes a real problem for the governments to pass on money to people in times like this. Thus, many poorer countries might have to go through the problem of pandemic and starvation simultaneously.

What is the solution for this then? Well, I’m not the expert but with my limited knowledge I feel that we need to do a few things consistently.

The most important thing that we need to do is that we need to reduce this idea of money being the most valuable thing on a mass level. Majority of the people need to understand that it is a means of trade and nothing else.

So, how will that happen?

I’d like to think it is possible by having a single decentralized virtual currency in the world. The currency will have a system where it auto-monitors the account credits of both the rich and poor. Our idea would be to make money mostly a means of trade and nothing more. We will have a single world governing body with absolutely no individual national borders. Money being decentralised the governing body will not be able to have control over it.

Then a few other steps need to be taken.

1. Educate the mass who have no problems with their basic needs about the real importance of money. Convince them of the fact that they dont need to run behind and earn money all the time. Money is just a means of trade.

2. Put a cap on earnings. It’s like ‘people can earn a certain amount and beyond that it is the world’s wealth, 100% beyond a certain amount will go back to the world.’ The auto-monitoring system will do that on its own. To me, it’s a crime to become richer and richer and at the same time there are people dying of hunger.

3. Distribute the required amount to the poor. How do we determine who’s poor and who’s not though? We keep a cap for poverty level as well. Remember, we need to make sure every human life in this world is accounted for and everyone has a virtual money account. Everyone should be aware that they have access to it. Here also, the auto-monitoring system puts credits in the accounts that require it. This will bring poor people out of poverty, get them to the level where basic needs are no longer a problem and then again we educate them of the fact that money is just a means of trade. Nudge them towards other values.

The world body will keep an eye on law and order (both physical and virtual), innovation, climate control and so on. The world body should determine which fields the human race need to work on immediately and in future in order to ensure our march forward. The criteria of defence for separate countries is null and void if we’re talking about a world body. We can then put that additional energy and effort in space-technology, underwater-technology, innovation, science, etc.

I honestly feel that this system might reduce the death rate of people due to starvation and also make us more prepared for times like now as we will start having less of this notion of acquiring personal wealth. We might be a little more prepared for future pandemics or some other things with our mass intellect no longer focused on money but other kinds of innovations.

I’d be intrigued to know people’s views on this. Feel free to comment on this as I would really appreciate additions or contradictiond in this. Please try and engage yourself in this as if it your own idea.

Above all, we must remember that we are all One.
