Yoga in simple terms, Simple life!

1)

The thrill to know more is why we struggle. As our struggle intensifies we go in kind of a trance. Mind you, this struggle is not the one which yields return. That is longing. This struggle is something which maybe related to a scientist trying to passionately discover something completely new. Longing on the other hand is merely trading. That struggle can also be called Karma Yoga. Lost in the struggle of karma, in a trance of that state of being. The other one is the state when we are lost in the trance of giving service, seva to others. Raja Yoga is what it can be called. The next two, Bhakti Yoga and Jnana Yoga are more in relation to a sage like lifestyle. These are seeked more in solitude which basically in these times not many people can afford to spend. But, that is not to say that the process shouldn’t be looked at. It is our doing that we spend or can afford to spend less time in solitude.

2)

Whenever you are filled with immense pride about yourself, remember that you are not that important. In the grand scheme of things, you destroy or build nothing. You just shape things a bit. But that could’ve been done by anybody in their own way. So, experience things and try to shape your experiences positively. Existence is simple. Life as we know it, call it becomes complicated by our own doing. Keep it simple.
