Sports during lockdown, global currency & fragile life!

1)

With the 2nd lockdown in Maharashtra (April 2021), the sports coaches that I work with will again go out of work as stadiums, gyms and other places of sports have been asked to keep shut.

I believe this is a big blow to the trainers and coaches as this profession is still not big enough to become an industry as such. The local coaches are people who have no other jobs but this to earn their bread from. These guys don’t even get represented properly. I believe sports should become an industry asap. Then only these people will have a kind of job as such. Otherwise sports at local level is still just like a daily wage job. This has to change.

You run behind something that you find value in. When a group of people find value in a common thing it increases the value of that thing even more. The group create a competition out of which a natural hierarchy gets created based on an individual’s ability. This is what currency has become in today’s society. It was meant to be a medium to transfer value instead of becoming a medium of value itself. Bitcoin’s self limiting system is something which is great but what I don’t like is the rewards based system. We don’t need more greed to prevail in this world, there’s enough already. I believe a global currency just to trade with without it actually becoming valuable is something that we should be trying to bring about. A self sustainable network where there’s a limit to how much how you can have in wallet both on the upper and lower side is something which can be looked into. Well, I know it’s complicated whatever I’m saying. But I’m willing to explain more.

Woke up to a terrible news. A former student (player) of mine lost his father today. It was sudden, it was shocking. Life is fragile. It is reminding you of that in every step of the way. You can have all the plans and dreams in the world but a small push of life in the wrong direction can make your plans and dreams go haywire. That is exactly why life is to be absorbed as much as possible. Events will come and go, events that are both good and bad. You are the result of those experiences of events. You the consciousness, absorbs them in a certain way and the result that comes out is the you that the world sees. Our battle is just that. It is to try and change the habit of our individual perception for the better.

Om Shanti..🙏

I'm a former professional badminton player. I've been writing about whatever the mind can grab hold of. If I can help anybody with my articles then I'd be grateful. Thank you.
