Inspired by Superheroes!?

Superhero movies.

How inspite of the storyline, the acting and everything being plain ordinary, I still get glued to most of them.

Ultimately man’s quest to be better, to be inspired to go higher, to do a bit more, to want a bit more will never end. Well, these movies inspire me.

And you know what! I don’t want this thirst to be inspired to end ever. If it ends then that means it is the end of mankind.

Yes, we’ll quarrel, fight, kill, harm and much more because of various conflicts. Yes, we can definitely be better in terms of reducing all that. Yes, this thirst to be better, go higher can be interpreted as greed no doubt.

But, I wouldn’t change a damn thing but be a witness to everything. Why should I? This nature, existence in itself is perfectly balancing itself out for eternity. What can I even do other than just being a teeny-weeny part of it?

The usual stuff of helping others can come in people’s mind. But here, let me tell you a line spoken by the Great Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, ‘To pick a thorn from your toe you need to use another thorn, but then when it is done you need to throw away both the thorns.’ My ? ?to him.

So my point being, beyond a certain point, to truly become one with this Perfection of Existence you need to observe everything and become a witness without the urge of both good and bad.

The cycle of existence turns everything around on its own, with or without intervention. What is good today will become bad tomorrow and vice versa. That’s the law of nature.

Let me give you another example of the cycle of good turning bad. Say, in terms of food habit, we turn everyone into a vegetarian to stop animals from being harmed.

What will happen then? Well, we’ll inevitably see the plantations of the world get ravaged by us first and also by the animals who would thrive as a result. The ecological system would get disrupted even then.

So, again, the point being, we must accept everything around, the good and bad both as existence. Everything individually and collectively is finely interwoven to make this One grand show to just be in and enjoy.

Om Shanti….?
