The Mindset to Sacrifice!?

1)?

Mindset is the most important aspect of any and every kind of tangible success.

Now, what exactly is mindset? Well, mindset is a combination of things. It’s a package. It basically comprises of a few key elements. It is what you call a total package of mental qualities which put together can bring you success. So let’s see what all we can include in that package:

1. Consistency – the first and foremost.

2. Discipline – both mental and physical.

3. Balance – between risk taking and risk averting.

4. Composure – most important at crucial times.

To me, these four elements cover most if not all of the things. There are various sub elements, virtues which can be included here under some of those that I just wrote about.

But to me, a thorough understanding of all those is important for one to develop that package called ‘mindset’.

?Yeah!

And, understanding will depend on one’s own psychology and thought pattern. That’s individual and that’s completely normal. But a development of some sort is the key.

2)?

I believe the biggest quality needed to maintain a loving relationship with someone is to understand the meaning of the word sacrifice. Putting others ahead of himself in most cases is important. Yes, sometimes it is important to look after oneself first but ideally that should also be for the greater good.

Let’s look at Jesus Christ. He sacrificed his life to teach the lesson of love to the entire world. That means he considered the whole of mankind his own people or we can say family.

In a much smaller way, parents go through the same thing for their child (well, most of the Indian parents do). Although parental sacrifice is much more instinctive than anything else and it is definitely based on some sort of ignorance but the core of it is putting the child above his or her own self.

In a couple’s relationship also the base should be that. So it is in a business and a professional one.

Now, don’t judge the success rate based on self sacrifice. It may not turn out to be successful even after a great deal of sacrifice. But, if the focus of one is to put others ahead of oneself in most cases, then he/she is already successful in most of the relationship of his/her life.

P.S. – This is my own life’s experience and I believe this has helped me evolve in a way ‘material success or grand titles’ could never have.

Om Shanti….?
