POEM- The Cloudy days!

The cloudy days,

Have so many ways,

You look out the window,

To find the idle greys.

On the cloudy days,

You have no legs,

You lie down with a stare of hollow,

As if there’s nothing else to follow,

To the cloudy days,

I bow down to it’s gloom,

It gives me a sense of calm,

With a hope that a little longer it stays.

On the cloudy day,

When the leaves just don’t sway,

The crows look all jaded,

Their hopes seem to have faded.

To the cloudy days,

Respect we should pay,

It teaches us an unique lesson,

Slow down, sometimes,

it is a jolly good reason.

To laze around,

To gaze around,

With just the mind and it’s words,

On the cloudy day, when you have no say,

But to see and listen to the birds.

Om Shanti….?
