The probability factor in life..

When do you feel miserable? When you start expecting things and they don’t turn out according to your expectation. We all know that every action can potentially have many reactions. The possibilities and probabilities are endless. The chance of any one probability becoming reality is as much as all the other ones. Yet ultimately out of all the probabilities, one actually becomes a reality.

Now, you already understand that the outcome that you are expecting is one of the several probabilities and quite often it so happens that the reality is quite different than your expectation. And that is when you start feeling miserable. So, you need to be aware of the fact that your actions are the only thing that is in control. The result depends on several other things which are not.

So how do you get the result then? Well, you need that little bit of luck to get the result. How do you get luck then? To answer this, I’d like to give an example here. If anybody’s aware of roulette then it’d be very easy to understand. Imagine you are playing roulette here. You keep rolling the ball and after several rolls or a few rolls you finally hit the numbers. It is the same with luck. You never know when it’ll side by you. But it will at some point by the law of probability. If you keep doing things with the same intention then at one point the law of probability will side by you and you will get the result that you are expecting.

Now, what I mentioned just now needs to be understood a bit in detail. I didn’t say that you do the same thing over and over again to get the result. I said, you keep doing things, as in different things or the same thing with the exact same intention. Everytime you do something, you learn something out of it. You become better with more experience. That experience makes you better equipped to try out the next thing with the same intention. Now the next thing maybe the exact same thing that you were doing before or a completely new thing that you will try. That depends on the experience factor that you gained from your previous action. Like this, you keep going through the process with more experience and efficiency to increase the percentage of your probability. As the percentage increases the probability of luck siding by you increases. Untill finally it does side by you.

Now whatever I just wrote, anybody reading this will have to understand it thoroughly to be able to actually execute it. This is the only way. That’s why we see people saying, ‘ you keep trying and you will succeed.’

Om Shanti..??
